This isn't funny: 400 detainees are still held in Guantánamo. Some for more than five years. Detainees have been subjected to serious human rights violations, including abduction and torture.
The US would not tolerate any other country treating a US citizen like this. International law says that human rights applies in times of war and peace, and a country’s human rights treaty obligations apply to its conduct inside and outside its territory.
